The Institute of Medicine has recommended that 80% of nurses have a bachelor’s degree by 2020.
Take your associate degree or diploma in nursing to the next level with the Penn State School of Nursing's RN to B.S. degree program. This 120-credit program builds and expands on the RN competencies needed to lead change and positively affect the health care industry. Earning a bachelor's degree can also properly prepare you to attend graduate school.
This program is offered online through Penn State World Campus.
If you hold a current and valid RN license, you may receive up to 33 credits by portfolio toward an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Penn State.
