Go-60 Program: Tuition-free Penn State courses for Pennsylvania seniors

Penn State’s Go-60 program offers Pennsylvania residents who are at least age 60 an opportunity to take undergraduate credit courses — on a space-available basis at no cost. Take courses that interest you, or study toward a degree or certificate. You can also opt to audit a course, which means that you will not receive an official grade.

Go-60 is only available for credit courses offered through Penn State Continuing Education at University Park (CEUP) and does not apply to workshops, conferences, or online courses.

To participate, you must be 60 years old prior to the start of the semester, and retired or working half-time. Get your Go-60 card by visiting the Penn State Continuing Education office at 128 Outreach Building, just off the Penn State/Innovation Park exit in State College. Please bring proof of age when requesting your card.

NOTE: Participants in the program are responsible for any required textbooks. You must meet all course prerequisites, and there must be space available for you in the course you choose. You must complete your course request form and submit it to the CEUP office. Our office will notify you, by phone, at least two days prior to the course start date if space is available.

Penn State welcomes students with disabilities to participate in its educational programs. If you anticipate needing special accommodations or have questions about physical access, please contact the Office for Disability Services (ODS) or call 814-863-1807 (V/TTY).
